  yes, the jws continue to bleed their young ones, so far in my local kh 3 were dfd, one girl just turned 18 this month and packed her bags and said goodbye to the cult and her cultish parents, another young 18 year old man decided to have a non-jw girlfriend and decided to stop attending and is no longer a witness.

  they continue to leave and wt leaders dont give a damn.

  they dont do anything to help kids be successful and live a healthy life.. .

  the annual meeting of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will be in october 2014.. .. in november 2013, just after the last one they published this now famous statement in the 15th of november 2013 watchtower page 16 paragraph 17 says:.

  "at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

  all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.".

  So Happy to Learn About Homemade Weed Killer

  three days ago we mixed up the recipe and sprayed the driveway cracks and several places where the weeds have been hard to get rid of.. today the weeds are dead just like when we've sprayed commercial weed killer.. mix one gallon white vinegar, 1 cup salt, 5 to 6 tablespoons of dawn dishwashing liquid.

  note: don't spray if it's fixin' to rain, wait for dry weather so the stuff will stay on the weeds.

  and don't spray where you want anything to grow ever!.

  Wanna do some semi-professional chemistry?

  Don't worry, I won't ask you to balance any equations.

  The following recipe uses common - you'll laugh at how common they are - chemicals that you can find in any decent hardware store. If you can't find this stuff in YOUR hardware store, then your hardware store is indecent.

  You will be using two chemicals and an indicator solution. Remember litmus paper? Red cabbage juice does the same sort of thing - it changes color as pH changes. So pick up a jar of pickled red cabbage or if you want to go from scratch, a head of red cabbage. You'll only be using a couple of the red cabbage leaves, so saute the rest of it with some bacon and a sliced-up apple. Good eats!

  Extract your red cabbage indicator. If you have a jar of prepared red cabbage, just pour off about one ounce of the juice and set it aside.

  From your hardware store you will buy a couple gallons of clear household ammonia and a container of dry SULFAMIC ACID. That's not a typo - SULFAMIC ACID, not sulfuric acid. Sulfamic acid is used by masons (not B.P.O.E.) to remove lime deposits, etc.

  It will be hellpful if you have one of those white 5 gallon plastic buckets - sometimes you can get them for free from restaurants.

  You're going to start out by adding about 1/2 cup - 4 oz - of dry sulfamic acid into the bucket containing 2 quarts of hot water. Stir carefully. Avoid splashing the acid in your eyes and don't gargle with it, no matter how strongly you feel compelled to.

  Add your red cabbage juice to the mixture and marvel at how bright red it is.

  Give the solution a good stir, and while the solution is circulating, add a cup of the clear household ammonia. The color may switch to greenish and then balance out back to red. If the solution stays red, add some more ammonia, stir and repeat. Give it time to balance out. When the solution stays green, add one tablespoon of sulfamic acid and stir for a while. The idea here is to walk the mixture back-and-forth from red (acid) to green (alkali) as you use up the ingredients. Ultimately you want the mix on the green - alkali - side, which will assure you that all of the slufamic acid has been consumed.

  This compound - ammonium sulfamate - is a powerful herbicide that breaks down in the environment leaving no harmful legacy. It will work where other herbicides are challenged.

  i've heard some view points that state, atheists are generally more moral & caring for fellow humans, than are theists.. i'd like to hear some personal stories of life changes and quality of life after you became atheist.

  i have a simple theory that may explain this.. i'll explain my theory if you'd like, after a few responses, as i really am interested in the personal changes that you experienced.. thank you very much, and i look forward to your stories..

  Well, yes, of course religion can be banned. All you need is a totalitarian government with the will to do it.

  Can religion be banned HERE?

  (I'm assuming you are in the so-called "free world")

  Are you high?

  Religion can't be banned here as long as the social contract is in effect.

  If religion was banned, wouldn't your anti-religion be banned also? or did you think you'd be a "priviledged character"?

  i admired him for taking his stand.. meanwhile we young jw guys were being hung out to dry by the wt.

  As one of those who had to face the draft, I thank you for your compassion. I've read your story, and facing a draft board, even with all it implied, in my opinion is nothing compared to the difficulties you faced on a daily basis.

  When I faced the draft board I fully expected that I would be spending some time in prison, and in the naivete that only a religion can inspire I thought it would be no big deal if I did go to prison. Fourty-six years later I read Terry's book. How stupid I was; how stupid my "elders" were!

  ...and the thing is, I WON! My draft board decided that I qualified for a 4-D deferment! I, yes, I - met the definition of a "minister of religion" when I was not even 20 years old! ...and here's the kicker - I believed i was, too! ...For a time, times, and half a time, give or take a few times.

  One downside, years later, is knowing that so many other good guys; Farkel and Terry, among others, were thrown into the bowels of the beast while I tap-danced through that particular Great Tribulation. What it comes down to is that I had better stats than they did, and my draft board was in Long Island City, NY, not on the west coast. There were BUNCHES of JW guys who had to face the same draft board I did, but I don't know who any of them are. I tried to contact someone I knew from back then. He responded, "You ought to get a dog so you have someone to talk to." Thanks.

  But the process of a draft is cruel, and the way incarcerated "men of conscience" were treated is abominable. "So, you're a "nice guy" eh? You love your neighbor, you're "god-fearing," eh? Well, we've got a little something special planned for you, pal."

  My father and my uncles served in WWII. If my mom hadn't accepted that DAMNED "free home Bible study" maybe I would have served. My cousins did, and they survived. Maybe I would not have survived; there were GIs in 'Nam who were skinned alive by the VC. Maybe my bones would be in a rice paddy somewhere. Maybe I would have committed atrocities after hearing my buddy being skinned alive.

  No matter where you go, there you are. And I am here.

  What happened to member "Amazing"?

  i have read last night the personal story of forum member "amazing", which he posted in 19 installments about 12 years ago.

  there are so many things about his experience that i can relate with.

  he seems to have vanished from this forum, for his last post as "amazing" was about 3 years ago.

  After Amazing! left JWD/JWN and re-embraced his Roman Catholic heritage, he began posting on "Channel C", which is a forum that requires an application for posting membership and limits posting membership to Christians. Anyone can go to "Channel C" and read the posts, but only "the elect" can comment to anything

  Amazing! had health problems (why do otherwise inteligent people smoke?) which I hope he has survived.

  The original owner of "Channel C" died within the past couple of years and for a while the fate of Channel C was uncertain.

  But it exists as of five minuts ago.
